Myanmar - The Future of Asian Pageantry

We all know that Myanmar is one of the few countries which we can call a pageant crazy nation.  They've been sending very competitive delegates lately to all major pageants, but, they are still yet to earn the recognition.  Myanmar is very close to my heart my dear readers, for I just don't know why.  I believe that they are just waiting for the  "It" thing to happen and they will surely be as successful as that of their neighboring ASEAN countries e.g. Philippines and Thailand.  They've been sending some of their delegates lately to the Philippines to train and prepare their girls for their upcoming international competitions.  Believe me my dear readers, Myanmar is something that pageant organizers and sponsors has to uncover, this people will bring exponential revenues to their organizations if, ever, they crown a Burmese delegate.

This years Miss Universe Myanmar already created buzz on the scene of pageantry. Htet Htet Htun is a 24 year old model who currently owns her own event management company. On top of her ownership at her company, Htun also conducts her own DJ classes for beginner students. Htun has been apart of five pageants and is proud to be finally representing her country at the upcoming Miss Universe Competition. For volunteer work, The Miss Universe Myanmar Organization has gotten her involved with Smile Train. On the side, Htun volunteers at the Future Youth Donation Group and the Friends Donation Group. If crowned, Htun would be looking forward to raising awareness for those who are suffering with HIV.
